Physician Leong Weizhen
Chief Medical Officer, Lead Physician
Upon graduation from NTU/BUCM with double degree in both Biomedical Science and TCM, Singaporean Physician Leong Weizhen was awarded the prestigious Chinese Government Scholarship (out of only seven places offered) for a 3-year Master’s course in BUCM and under the prestigious mentorship of Professor Jiao Yang, Director of Respiratory Department in Dongfang Hospital, Beijing. Upon her return to Singapore in 2013, Physician Leong started Oriental Remedies Inc. with the passion to introduce people to the traditional methods of TCM with a modern implementation. She aims to marry TCM with state-of-the-art Technology-Enhanced Therapies.
Because of Physician Leong’s exposure to many patients and conditions over the years, her patients have come to expect detailed diagnosis of their condition, which often results in both immediate symptomatic relief of their conditions but more importantly, a long term treatment plan to correct the underlying imbalances or deficiencies resulting in sustainable wellness. Great with people, she makes it easy for you to understand your condition while providing effective treatments for you.
Physician Leong believes in continual upgrading of her skills to serve her patients better. Hence, in 2018, she understudied an American doctor to get herself certified as a trainer and practitioner in Electro-Lymphatic Therapy and specializes in re-routing of lymph fluids for cancer and post-surgery patients. She is currently an advocate for lymphatic health for improved immunity, and speaks at many public forums on tips to maintain optimal lymphatic health.

During his 3 years in Beijing, Physician Lim did rotations at multiple departments in the wards and outpatient clinics in Dongzhimen Hospital. As such, he acquired vast knowledge of integrative approaches used in China, using both TCM and western medicine simultaneously to achieve the best results for patients. Physician Lim also joined in the surgical team during his rotations in the anorectal and peripheral vascular departments.

Physician Ng Mei Yun
Senior Physician
Since she was young, Physician Ng Mei Yun had exposure to unwell people and developed a passion for wanting to better their health. Hence, she decided to pursue a course in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in Nanyang Technological University (NTU). Her passion and interest drove her to excel in her studies and during her tenure in NTU, she was placed on the coveted Dean’s list.
She received valuable clinical experience in the next two years she spent in Beijing University of Chinese Medicine (BUCM). The turning point in her internship came during her final year, when she fully appreciated that not only is TCM not a relatively slower and longer treatment alternative, but it is in fact speedy and effective in treating renal diseases and other general conditions or symptoms.
Upon graduation, Mei Yun clinched a scholarship (out of only seven places offered) for a 3-year Master’s course in BUCM and under the prestigious mentorship of Dr Wang Bao Kui, Head of Nephrology in Dongfang Hospital, Mei Yun experienced for herself how TCM could successfully work as a standalone treatment or in tandem with Western medicine and it is this new holistic approach that she promises to bring to bear, in her practice of TCM. Mei Yun’s vision of engaging only physicians who share the same passion and ideals will augur well in enlightening patients and the public, paving the way for a new standard of healthcare.
